Our Way to H.O.P.E. was founded in 2015. I understand that it takes an entire community to raise a child in Paterson. That’s one of the reasons the organization was formed. Last year in December 2015 was our first annual free Christmas dinner in Paterson. We were able to feed 120 needy people that day, again with the help and support of family and friends.
During our lifetime we are encountered with many little miracles. In school it could be a teacher, a coach, moms and dads who have influenced us or a friend who just brightened our day when we were sad. Those good memories can last a lifetime.
Our mission is to help underprivileged families, mainly domestic violence victims from Paterson and Elmwood Park with food, clothing and to offer the women care packages and the children supplies and necessary tools needed to succeed in school. We would like to be able to give our young children a backpack filled with supplies for school during our Back pack event day. We would also like to offer our amazing children a chance to receive a scholarship to be used towards their choice of school. During the end of the year we will be hosting our annual Christmas Dinner Celebration. On that day it gives the organization a chance to give a parent and child a gift for Christmas whom otherwise would not be able to afford this expense. Our Way to HOPE understands the importance of each donation and we appreciate any amount. With the help and support from our friends like you, together we can make it possible and offer our amazing children a CHANCE to succeed.
